Murano Blown and Sculpted Pink and White Glass Bead, 45MM
A new series of blown authentic Murano Glass beads are made using a special, labor intensive technique that is applied to the bead after they are blown and annealled. The effect is nown as battuto in Muranese. It is much like the old chevron beads where the mosaico canes were ground to reveal the colors underneath. This new series of colors were designed by Benda and the glassblower.
The size of these is approximately 45mm in length and about 15 across at the largest width.
Thickness is about 10. The holes sizes vary as they are blown and you will always need to use a beadcap to stabilize.
