Luxury Handmade Silver Foil Czech Glass Necklace on Silk Cord

Part of our Luxury Czech glass collection. These amazing beads are made by hand using the very old technique of lamp work.

We recently visited Jablonec, Czech Republic, the Czech glass bead making capital of the world. We visited several "factories" and hand chose some of the most beautiful beads in the world.

The beads are similar to Venetian Foil in that silver foil is on the inside of the glass. The outer glass is clear which shows the silver foil and shades of blue, green and pink between the two layers. The bead is smooth. This beads took days to make and each bead is one-of-a-kind. The bead measures 25MM, with a depth of 8 MM. 

Atop the brass flower bead cap sits a light blue 6MM Swarovski crystal. The necklace drop is just under 1 1/2" from the hand dyed slate blue silk cord. The necklace measures 18".

All sterling silver findings, with the exception of base metal fold over end caps and brass bead cap.
