Luxury Handmade Green Gold Foil Czech Glass Necklace on Silk Cord

Part of our Luxury Czech glass collection. These amazing beads are made by hand using the very old technique of lamp work.

We recently visited Jablonec, Czech Republic, the Czech glass bead making capital of the world. We visited several "factories" and hand chose some of the most beautiful beads in the world.

The beads are similar to Venetian Foil in that gold foil is on the inside of the glass. The outer glass is light green which shows the gold foil inside to show through. On the outside of the bead are patterned flowers in various colors. This beads took days to make and each bead is one-of-a-kind. The bead measures 20MM x 15MM, with a depth of 8 MM. The shape is oval.

Atop the brass flower bead cap sits a green 4MM Swarovski crystal. The necklace drop is 1 1/2" from the hand dyed green silk cord. The necklace measures 17 1/2".

All sterling silver findings, with the exception of base metal fold over end caps and brass bead cap.
