Luxury Handmade Czech Glass Silver Coin Lamp Work Necklace on Silk Cord

Part of our Luxury Czech glass collection. These amazing beads are made by hand using the very old technique of lamp work.

We recently visited Jablonec, Czech Republic, the Czech glass bead making capital of the world. We visited several "factories" and hand chose some of the most beautiful beads in the world.

The bead is similar to Venetian Foil in that silver foil is on the inside of the glass. The outer glass is clear which shows the foil with specs of blue, yellow and pink glass on the inside and pink rose swirls on the outside. The bead is smooth. This bead took days to make and each bead is one-of-a-kind. The bead measures 25MM, with a depth of 6MM. 

Atop the bead sits a bright brass flower bead cap sits and a 8MM lavender Swarovski crystal bicone. The pendant drop is just under 1 1/2" from the hand dyed lavender silk cord. The necklace measures 17".

Sterling silver findings, including head pin, lobster clasp, split ring and 2MM round spacer.
