A new series of blown authentic Murano Glass beads which are made using a special technique performed on the bead after it has been blown and annealled.
The effect is known as Battuto in Muranese. It is much like the old chevron beads where the mosaic canes were ground to reveal the colors underneath. This new series of colors were designed with the bead maker. The pattern reminds one of bamboo leaves.
Size is 25MM.
Hole size: approximately 4MM.
Size and shape and exact shading vary as these are completely handmade. Perfect for a remarkable pendant.
